On November 10th, 2025, the workshop on laboratory notebook management took place at the Department of Biology, University of Zagreb School of Medicine (MEF), organized by Croatian Society of Biochemisty and Molecular Biology (HDBMB) and the School of Medicine (MEF), with the support of FEBS Education and Training Committee.
Participants from academia, industry, and biomedical fields discussed the importance of a well-structured lab notebook—from basic and clinical research to industrial processes and big data analysis. The program included expert lectures and hands-on sessions where participants designed their own examples of lab notebooks for various laboratory techniques.
🔍 A final survey showed high participant satisfaction—the average rating for lecturers and organization was 4.8.
