Dear members,

We are proud to announce that HDBMB has become a partner of FEBS-ETC. In doing so, we clearly express our full support for the continuous development of our members’ knowledge and skills, and we position our Society as an active contributor to the advancement of Croatian science and higher education.

Within this partnership with FEBS-ETC, HDBMB is launching a call for one-time support grants for its members to participate in FEBS-ETC 2026.

Total programme budget: €2,460.00
Funding source: The Society’s own funds

In brief, FEBS-ETC (FEBS Education and Training Conference) is the first conference of its kind in Europe focused on strengthening scientists’ competencies in education and training—that is, in the transfer of knowledge and skills. FEBS-ETC will take place 25–29 March 2026, organised by FEBS, in the beautiful city of Kuşadası (Turkey), and will bring together senior and early-career scientists from around the world to share expertise and learn from one another.

The conference will include a range of activities, such as:

  • Plenary lectures: inspiring discussions led by distinguished plenary speakers
  • Hands-on workshops: because you learn best when you’re actively involved!
  • “Meet the Expert” sessions: gatherings dedicated to fostering the development of the next generation of scientists
  • Certified workshops: boost your CV and LinkedIn profile—these certificates will demonstrate your commitment to excellence in education and training of young scientists in the molecular sciences
  • Oral and poster presentations: because we want to learn about your journey too!
  • Networking opportunities: meet like-minded people, build your own international network of colleagues and friends, join lively discussions, and share your experiences and perspectives
