We invite HDBMB members, scientists, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and all interested participants to register for the 27th IUBMB–FASBMB–SASBMB Congress 2027, which will take place from 19 to 23 September 2027 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town, South Africa.

The congress will be held under the theme “Biochemical & Molecular Innovation for a Sustainable World”, featuring a diverse scientific programme covering current topics in biochemistry and molecular biology, including bioinformatics, computational and systems biology, structural biology and biophysics, molecular mechanisms of disease, immunology and infectious diseases, stem cell and cancer research, chemical biology and drug discovery, as well as biotechnology and synthetic biology.
The programme will feature plenary lectures by world-renowned scientists, international keynote lectures, poster presentations, networking opportunities, industry engagement and dedicated events for early-career researchers.
The congress offers an excellent opportunity to exchange the latest scientific knowledge, present research findings and connect with the international scientific community.
