We are pleased to invite you to a lecture by Prof. Ivan Mijaković, PhD, Full Professor at Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Biosustain). Prof. Mijaković graduated in Molecular Biology from the University of Zagreb, earned his PhD at the University of Paris XI, and currently leads an international research laboratory focusing on molecular mechanisms of bacterial regulation, metabolic engineering, and the application of nanomaterials in biomedicine and environmental protection.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in lecture hall A0-2 at the Faculty of Science, University of Split.

In his presentation, Prof. Mijaković will showcase the latest research at the intersection of molecular biology and nanotechnology—two fields whose integration paves the way for personalized medicine and more precise medical diagnostics. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about current research, challenges, and future directions in this dynamic area that is shaping the medicine of the future.

The lecture is organized by the Faculty of Science, University of Split, with HDBMB as a co-organizer.
