The HDBMB Young Scientists Forum invites you to the online talk of Prof Igor Štagljar, on Thursday, April 14th 2022 at 19:00. This lecture is organized by the FEBS Junior Sections, an initiative of students and young researchers from some of the FEBS Constituent Societies.

Prof Igor Štagljar is a Professor at University of Toronto Canada and a Co-director and Laboratory Head at the Medils Institute in Split, where he leads extremely successful scientific groups. He is one of the world leaders in the field of proteomics/chemical genomics. In addition, he is the founder of two biotechnology companies based on his discoveries. In his career so far, he has made significant contributions to the research of membrane proteins, an important therapeutic targets in various diseases.
In his talk entitled “My story about life, science and success”, Prof Štagljar will present his career path and share tips for success. The talk is in English. We recommend that you register and listen to the lecture!
