We invite all members of the Croatian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (HDBMB) to encourage their children to participate in the first FEBS Children’s Science Art Competition, a science-themed art competition for children organized by the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS).
The competition is open to children aged 4 to 15 who have a close family connection to the FEBS community. This year’s theme is “Science in a Winter Celebration”. Children are invited to express their creativity and imagination through original drawings or paintings that combine science with the winter and festive spirit.
The competition features three age categories, with a special prize for the winner of each category – a microscope. One of the winning artworks will also be selected as the official FEBS festive greeting for 2026.
The submission deadline is 18 November 2026 at 23:59 CET.
Entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Detailed guidelines, eligibility criteria and the entry form are available on the official competition webpage.
