We invite you to the Ruđer Bošković Institute Colloquium: “CHROMATIN-ASSOCIATED DEGRADATION (CHROMAD) IN GENOME STABILITY AND CANCER THERAPY,” which will be delivered by Dr. Kristijan Ramadan, Director of the Cancer Discovery and Regenerative Medicine Program, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKC Medicine), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

📅 Date: April 11, 2025
🕒 Time: 12:30
📍 Location: Ruđer Bošković Institute, Hall of Wing III

The lecture will explore how proteostasis is maintained in chromatin, one of the largest protein-assembling sites in the cell, and how the loss of chromatin proteostasis leads to genome instability. Dr. Ramadan will discuss the role of p97/CHROMAD in genome stability and its application in cancer therapy, as well as the latest findings on how nucleophagy contributes to chemotherapy resistance.
