We are delighted to announce the FEBS Special Meeting “Expanding frontiers in aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase research”, coorganized by University of Zagren, Faculty of Science and HDBMB. The meeting will take place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from September 28th to October 3rd, 2025.
An exciting program will cover groundbreaking findings in aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase research and emerging topics in related fields, including genetic code engineering, design and development of new drugs and therapies, genetic diseases, cell signalling, protein biosynthesis and degradation, system biology, evolution, biomedicine.
The program includes patient-oriented session with round table discussion and face-to-face meetings between patients, clinicians, scientists and biotech representatives.
Young scientists are especially welcome and they can apply for grants to support their participation. Special feature of the meeting is career progression lunch with career planning of younger investigators through discussions with the top world experts.

- 13th April 2025 – deadline for applications for FEBS YTF awards, transcontinental YTF award, and AARS bursaries
- 20th April 2025 – abstracts submission deadline for oral presentations and early registration closing
- 15th August 2025 – abstract submission deadline and late registration closing
