Call for the host of the ‘FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE 2022 Symposium – a PhD and Postdoc meeting’

FEBS invites applications from academic institutions (universities or research institutions) with a strong research background in molecular life sciences and an active PhD community to host the ‘FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE 2022 Symposium – a PhD and Postdoc meeting’ in November 2022.

FEBS and IUBMB will fund the event up to a sum of €65,000.

The international ENABLE (European Academy for Biomedical Science) conferences have been organized by PhD students and postdoctoral researchers for their peers since 2017 to provide interdisciplinary scientific exchange in biomedical research as well as career development and outreach sessions. The events were initially funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme.  

FEBS and IUBMB previously sponsored travel grants for the events but have now joined forces to provide the funding for organization of further annual events from 2022 to 2025.
